What is Friends?

Friends of the Baldwin City Recreation Commission is a nonprofit
organization that opens the door to a world of community lifestyle
enhancement. By gaining 501c3 status this group will pursue and
encourage funding that is greatly needed and previously
unavailable. Through grants and donations, Friends will be able to
provide better recreational avenues to our community, which is
rapidly growing in populus and therefore in its needs for facilities
and programs of leisure.

Becoming a member of Friends not only provides you with the
highest tax exemption available for your donation, but more
importantly provides funding for limitless projects that you and
your family can use and enjoy.

We take pride in what a unique community Baldwin City is in which
to raise our families and live. A friend is someone willing to give
back to our community.

~Friends are as companions on a journey, who ought to aid each
other to perservere in the road to a happier life.~
